In 1999, Mick Gay and shane Hillard created O-Organic produce to creat a new experience in organic take away food. Mick and Shane met while working together for a leading Sydney restaurant, and both saw the need for exciting, nutritions food in the organic eat and run market. Working out of the production kitchen located within their organic cafe at Surry Hills, Mick and Shane have been joined by expert chefs Ali and Jin. Today, Organic Produce has grown larger than they imagined possible.
Receiving an outside investment in early 2010 has meant an expansion into the food court and shopping centre sectors, making delicious and convenient organic wholefoods more widely available.
Organic Produce has been supplying retailers such as Health Emporium in Bondi, Bayside Natural Health Centre in Double Bay, Wholefoods House in Waterloo and Woolahra and many leading cafes and delis around Sydney since the conception of the business started in 1999.
